I’m a UX educator and mentor with over 16 years of experience designing digital experiences for global brands such as Volkswagen, Pepsi, Philips, and Toon. My multidisciplinary background and user-centric mindset—rooted in design thinking—are the foundation of my holistic approach to design and teaching.
Curious by nature, I spend as much time as possible understanding users, observing human behavior, and uncovering the real problems beneath the surface. Fascinated by emotional intelligence, I see people as my greatest source of inspiration. Critical thinking guides every step of my process, and I believe methods and tools only matter when they’re used with intention and meaning.
I’m committed, enthusiastic, and decisive. I gain energy from being inspired and inspiring others, facilitating processes, achieving goals, and delivering results. Over the past years, I’ve developed a deep passion for shaping future UX designers—and today, this is where I focus all my energy.
As a mentor and educator, I help designers grow by guiding them through portfolio building, crafting case studies grounded in real-world practice, and developing the confidence to think, decide, and communicate like professionals. I bring the same mindset from my design career into mentoring: listening deeply, asking the right questions, and helping each designer uncover their strengths. My mentees often describe me as patient, empathetic, and deeply invested in their growth—someone who challenges them while celebrating their progress.
Driven by a constant hunger for knowledge and experimentation, I expanded my skills in 2023 with a postgraduate diploma in Digital Fabrication at FabAcademy. Learning, for me, is a lifelong practice.
I speak Portuguese (mother tongue), English (fluent), Spanish (basic), a little Dutch, and enough Italian to hold a simple conversation. I love to travel and I’m on a mission to visit at least one city in every country—so far, I’ve been to 15 countries and one U.S. state.
Whether I’m teaching research methods, facilitating workshops, or reviewing portfolios, my goal is always the same: empower designers to grow, build confidence, and create meaningful, human-centered experiences.
